Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center?
I am committed to working for New Horizons Center because the organization’s mission and values align closely with my own. I believe in treating people with dignity, respect, and compassion, and I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. The opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our members is incredibly rewarding and gives purpose to the work I do each day. As a member of the New Horizons Center team, it is truly an honor to contribute my skills and dedication to our mission of making a positive impact on the individuals we have the privilege to support.
What am I professionally and personally proud of?
Professionally, I am proud of the dedication and hard work that have allowed me to grow within New Horizons Center. Advancing into the Residential Coordinator role has been a meaningful accomplishment, as it reflects the trust others have placed in me and my commitment to supporting both the individuals we serve and the staff I work with. I am proud to be part of a team that values compassion, respect, and person-centered support, and I take pride in being someone who can step up, solve problems, and lead by example.
Personally, I am proud of my determination and willingness to keep moving forward, even when life presents obstacles. Whether pursuing my education, advancing my career, or supporting those around me, I strive to approach each challenge with perseverance, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose.
Who am I when I am not working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, or simply being at home. I also love being outdoors and traveling whenever I have the opportunity, and I make it a priority to stay connected with family who live out of state. Work-life balance is important to me, as it allows me to stay connected to the people I care about, take care of myself, and appreciate the little things in life.
