Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center for Individuals with Special Needs?

I am committed to working for New Horizons Center because I believe every individual deserves to
be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Throughout my career in social services, I have
been passionate about serving vulnerable populations and helping people achieve their fullest
potential. New Horizons Center’s mission and values align closely with my own, and I am excited to
be part of an organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of the individuals and families it
serves. I look forward to leading, learning, and working alongside an incredible team dedicated to
meaningful, person-centered care.

What are you professionally and personally proud of? 

Professionally, I am proud of the years I’ve dedicated to serving vulnerable populations and the
positive impact I’ve had on the communities and individuals I’ve been privileged to support. I take
great pride in leading with compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to continuous growth and
learning.
Personally, I am incredibly proud of my children and grandchildren, who are my greatest joy and
inspiration. I am also deeply honored to have given the gift of life to two families as a surrogate. Those experiences were profoundly meaningful and reinforced my belief in service, sacrifice, and the extraordinary impact we can have on one another’s lives.

Who are you when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I’m someone who loves adventure, new places, and meeting new people. I
value my leisure time and enjoy making the most of every opportunity to experience something
exciting. I’m drawn to all things water, speed, and adventure, and you can usually find me boating,
exploring somewhere new, chasing a thrill, or out on a hike enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. I
believe life is meant to be lived fully, and I embrace every chance to create new memories and
experiences.
