Bio:
My name is Lyric Page, I was born in Las Vegas, NV and raised in Bullhead City, AZ. I am the only girl among six siblings and a dog mom to my handsome golden shepherd mix, Ford. I enjoy reading, geocaching and traveling in my free time. I’m currently a Masters pathway student with a passion for helping others and fostering compassion in the community.
Why are you committed to working for New Horizons Center for Individuals with Special Needs?
The mission and goals of New Horizons, which emphasize inclusion and independence, represent an inspiring commitment to meaningful impact. Working with New Horizons has allowed me to further apply my core strengths—compassion and optimism—within a professional environment that aligns with these values. Given that these principles are deeply embedded in the organization’s mission, I am honored to contribute to and uphold its vision.
What are you professionally and personally proud?
I take great pride in my ability to multitask and my optimistic outlook. I enjoy a fast-paced environment and reaching new goals, no matter how far they seem. Additionally, my optimism plays a key role in my life, allowing me to maintain a positive outlook, regardless of the circumstances, and inspire confidence in others.
Who are you when you’re not working?
I am a dog mom, a student and most importantly an aunt. My nieces and nephews are the center of my world. Most of my time is spent soaking up their love and giggles. When I have time to spare from my academic work, I enjoy taking my sweet Golden Shepherd, Ford, to the park or the river and indulging in my hobbies, reading and geocaching!
