Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center?

Throughout my career, I have worked with several populations from Tramuatic Brain injured, mentally ill and individuals with intellectual disabilities. I am committed to ensuring that the members that we support and care for have the absolute best care as this is what they deserve. I want to ensure that our members always feel included and that they matter. If you are ever having a rough day, you can always find a smile and a hug here and seeing our members light up it where it’s at for me!  

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

I am professionally proud of all the accomplishments that I have achieved on the last 20 plus years od service in this field, I have worked most positions from DSP to COO and I am still loving what I do. Personally, I am a very proud mom of 3 children and a very proud Grandma of 2 precious grandbabies. 

Who are you when you are not working?

 When I am not working, I enjoy refurbishing furniture, traveling to see my grandbabies. I enjoy college sports and watching my son play football.  I also enjoy hanging in the pool with the family and watching movies on the weekends.
