Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center?

One of life’s greatest missions is to find a need and meet it, and that is what New Horizons does so well. I am committed to this great mission because the work we do deeply impacts the underserved members in our community. I believe everyone at some point in their journey finds themselves in a position needing a helping hand and we have the privilege of doing that every day with our members. Hearing and seeing the great work that New Horizons has done over the years deepens my commitment to keep us thriving, growing, and changing life’s every day.

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

I am proud to have taken the road less traveled in my career journey of serving, leadership, and creating new pathways to impact people’s lives. Professionally I have taken the risk of saying yes to new opportunities that challenged me to grow and lead in larger capacities in a number of organizations. My personal life, and professional life seem to run parallel, being both who I am, and what I do. With the history of working with a wide variety of age groups in vastly different environments, I’ve learned that it takes a selfless heart, and a willingness to pay any price to make the difference.

Who are you when you are not working?

I have the privilege of being married to my amazing wife, and together we raise our son as he enters his toddler years. I am a person of deep faith that is intricately involved in the local church. I enjoy spending time with my family, making new memories together, and working toward something that is bigger than myself. Adding value to people, making people feel valued, and valuing people is the motto of who I strive to be.
