Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center?

I am committed to working for New Horizons to serve a higher purpose. I have spent the majority of my HR career in a manufacturing environment and although I loved the employees, I felt something was missing. Joining the New Horizons team has filled that void and I look forward to serving these incredible people for years to come.

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

Professionally, I am proud of my career in human resources and the impact I have made on those I serve. I earned my Professional Human Resources certification a year after “falling into”, over fifteen years ago. I work diligently to continue my knowledge and ensure I stay current and relevant in an ever-changing world.

Personally, I am extremely proud of my children and the wonderful men they have become. I am also proud of my husband; he is an amazing human being and inspires me to be the best version of myself every day.

Who are you when you are not working?

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and tending to our little farm. I love animals, especially my boxers, and hope to one day provide pet therapy services within the community.
