Why are you committed to working for New Horizons Center?

Our members motivate my commitment to New Horizons. Every day I have the privilege of directing a program that enriches our member’s lives. Sharing moments of learning, growth and pure joy with our members makes me feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. It’s extremely rewarding on a professional and soul level.

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

 I’m most proud of my genuinely kind heart. This is a gift I can share in both my professional and personal life that serves a higher purpose. Kindness is contagious!

Professionally, prior to working at New Horizons, I have been a real estate broker for 25 years, assisting home buyers and sellers in achieving their goals.

Personally, I’m extremely proud to be a Mom to my 2 boys ages 18 and 16. Raising them has been my greatest acheivement.

Who are you when you are not working?

My personality can be best summerized as a country girl, comedian, athlete, animal lover.

I was raised in a small wheat farming town with a love of all animals wild and tame. While raising my boys we had a rescue farm with horses, mini donkey, pig, chickens,  quail, goat, llama, dogs & cats.  Athletics were a driving force in my life, through my college tennis career and coaching high school volleyball. I have always enjoyed making people smile. Laughter is absolutely good for the soul. If you have a conversation with me, please be forewarned that I will likely say something wacky just to lighten the mood.
