Why am I committed to working for New Horizons Center?

I am motivated to lead the recruitment and retention efforts with integrity and dedication by recruiting the right people that uphold personal values and work ethic, while ensuring 100% compliance with regards to our required training and documentation.  I have a passion for the dynamics of people and teams and look forward to facilitating efforts with job satisfaction, employee engagement, and improved retention efforts.  I am committed to creating strong relationships that create healthy employee commitment.

What are you professionally and personally proud of?  Professionally I am most proud of my 28-year career with Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.  Managing surgical departments was a dream as I had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people and together, we improved processes, the care provided to our members, as well as a dedication and desire to be the BEST.  After retiring from Kaiser and having the staff I managed continue to reach out for advice or just a thank you mean everything and shows me that I was truly good at what I did.

Personally, I am most proud of being married to my best friend for 30 years and counting.  Together we created a strong family unit.  So proud of the phenomenal men and fathers they have become.  PROUD MOMMA

Who are you when you are not working?  When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family.  My husband and I enjoy outdoor activities, like Kayaking, boating, camping, off roading, as well as eating out, and just relaxing all day on the couch while binge watching all of the shows we recorded.
