Why am I committed to Serving on the Board of Directors for New Horizons Center?

I am committed to working for New Horizons because I enjoy being around others. I bring a positive and uplifting attitude—I feel that is the key to success!

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

I am professionally proud of an award I was given about 6 years ago. A Hotel Management Company I worked for had many properties across the Pacific North West. Each year we convened for a week long Kickoff. This was filled with motivational speakers, classes, and educational workshops. Out of our entire company, I won Runner Up Employee of the Year award.

I am personally proud of my son. He is everything to me and each day he makes me more and more proud!

What are you professionally and personally proud of?

My son is my entire world and my forever best friend. I grew up just outside of Yosemite National Park so hiking and the outdoors have always been a part of my life. I have taken Gauge hiking with me since he was 4 months old! I enjoy anything outdoors—hiking, camping, kayaking, backpacking, star gazing, and even waterfall climbing!
